Notifications / Approval
Workflow in NovusCMS 4.5 is managed with three steps:
Step 1: Users are assigned a User Type

Writer ~ Does not have publish permissions. Any changes to content made by a Writer require the approval of an Editor before being made public.

Editor ~ Has the ability to publish their own changes and approve the changes of Writers in their department

Administrator ~ Full permissions
Step 2: Users select the pages and actions that should result in a notification email.
Step 3: Editors receive an email notification when a page is "sent to publish"
Editors can approve or reject changes to a web page.
